With the release of the 2020 NFL Schedule despite skepticism of the season proceeding as planned, it is somewhat safe to go ahead and begin predicting the NFL season. Numerous sources around the league firmly believe league play will begin on time even if summer training camps and workouts have to be altered in anyway due to COVID-19. There are also some speculation that the games will be played without fans. I personally don’t see that as a possibility. There’s too much money at stake to not have the season in full swing.
The NCAA already came out and said that’s not an option for college sports in the fall with NCAA President Mark Emmert saying, “If students aren’t on campus, games will not be played.” Obviously, the NCAA is not the NFL, but, to me, it’s difficult to have one league play and not the other.
Regardless of what is being said, the NFL looks to be on track to start on time and move forward with the 2020 season. With all that being said, here are my way-too-early regular season and playoff predictions. I hope our own @gibson724 will agree with these predictions. Why wouldn’t he?

Drew Brees goes out on top in this way-too-early prediction. With a little less hair and a little more urgency to win the big one before he heads to the booth, Brees and Payton solidify their positions in the Hall of Fame after this season.
